Today (May 11):

Sunday, May 11 is Pentecost Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. in the NEW Fellowship Hall. Join us for a celebration of the "birthday" of the church. Be sure to wear something orange, yellow, or red. and join the celebration of the Church's birth. The 2008 PC (USA) Pentecost offering will be received. Pentecost Offering will be received today. The offering goes to: 10% to Child Advocacy Ministries; 25% to creation of new specialty resources for youth leaders; 25% to support Young Adult Volunteer opportunities; and 40% locally for the Payne County Youth Shelter.

Boy Scout Troop 20 and Adventure Crew Bake Sale today before and after worship. Stop by and check out the special treats.

PYG (Presbyterian Youth Group) does not meet. Happy Mother's Day!

This Week (May 12-17):

Senior High Ramen Noodle Lunch at 11:00 in new Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend.

Session meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Small Dining Room.

PW Coordinating Team Meeting begins Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Library.

Presbyterian Women's Luncheon is May 14 at 11:45 a.m. The program is "The Sign of the Fish - A Story about Mary, Mother of Jesus." led by Gladeen Allred Struthers. Reservations are due in the Church Office by Friday, May 9. Call the office Monday to see if any reservations are still available.

Children's CE meets Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in North Fellowship Hall.

Mission Trip Planning Team meets Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Library.

Building Future Foundations Meeting Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Small Dining Room.

Chancel Choir is on hiatus. Rehearsals begin again in August. Their dedication to enhancing the worship services is appreciated.

Thursday Morning Bible Study meets in the Library at 10:00 a.m.

Next Sunday (May 18):

Celebration Day is Sunday, May 18. 9:30 a.m. The new building will be dedicated and a reception will follow. Plan to be here for this special event. We will recognize our graduating High School Seniors that day as well.

Summer Worship Schedule begins May 18 - One service at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary followed by Fellowship Time.

PYG Senior Dinner is at 5:00 p.m. at Mexico Joe's. Meet to honor our graduating seniors. Seniors, your meal is on us. Everyone else needs to bring money for dinner. The back room is reserved for us.

VBS Workers! A Brief Orientation will be Sunday, May 18. Adults at 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Youth from 7:00-7:30 p.m.

Ohana PW Circle Meets at 5:00 p.m. at Berry Creek Clubhouse.

Looking ahead:

Heritage Sunday May 25 Worship begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary as we take a trip from earliest Christianity through our Reformed Presbyterian heritage, giving thanks for those faithful who have gone before us.

Men's Softball Team will be playing games on Thursday nights this spring through June 12. Game times vary from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. If you are interested in playing, contact Joe Parsons at 269-9757.

The Church Office will be closed, Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
