Upcoming Music Department Events
at First Presbyterian

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Do YOU Have Musical Talents?

Music is an integral part of worship at First Presbyterian Church. If you have a musical talent (voice, instrumental, etc.) you would be willing to share with our congregation, we'd like to talk to you. We are always looking for ways to incorporate special music into our services. Please e-mail our Music Director, Heather Lanners, at heather.lanners@okstate.edu.

Chancel Choir

Come make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Chancel Choir rehearsals are Mid-August
through the week before Pentecost
(May/June) on:
Wednesday evenings - 7:30-8:30 p.m.
and
Sunday mornings - 10:15-10:45 a.m.
Childcare is provided. Come join us! We are always happy to welcome new members. If you have questions about the choir, please e-mail our Music Director, Heather Lanners, at heather.lanners@okstate.edu.

SpiritLink Music:
The children are learning to play handbells during SpiritLink; however if your child would enjoy being involved in singing and leading in worship be sure to bring them for Children's choir and music time on Sundays in the choir room! Children's choir and music meets from 9:30-9:45 a.m.

Bell Choir

First Presbyterian Church also currently has a bell choir under the direction of Aaron Hale. Rehearsal Times: Sundays 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.  Anyone who might enjoy making music with other people is invited to join us.  Bell ringing experience is not necessary. Being able to read music is helpful but also not a requirement.
