This month we will be honoring Presidents Day, and our very own Marilyn King will be leading us in a Patriotic Sing-along and as well as a celebration of the men and women who have served our country in the military.  Invite your friends and neighbors who are veterans!

March 18, 2019

Dr. John Rooney will come discuss the Folds of Honor Program.  He is the father of the founder of the program, Major Dan Rooney.  Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission: To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.  Their Motto is Honor Their Sacrifice.  Educate Their Legacy.

TENTATIVE- In April, we are planning on hosting a round table discussion on Resiliency and Loneliness, with the help of Dr.  Linda Burks.

May 20, 2019

Our next Seasoned Adults Program will be on Monday, May 20.  We will welcome back Dr. Belinda Bruner. She will read to us from her novel, This Is Why We Sing, based on her great-grandmother's five years spent with Pancho Villa's militia. She will enhance her reading with stories from her family's past, and details about her research in New Mexico. Dr. Bruner is an award-winning poet and published author. This is her first novel.  Please make reservations for dinner ($10 per person) by Friday May 17 by emailing me or calling the church office. If you cannot make dinner, please stop by for the program, which will start about 6:45 pm.

If you have any questions, please email me at kelly.mccarley@stillwaterfpc.org. I am looking forward to seeing you all soon
