Purpose
Presbyterian Preschool has operated for more than 30 years as an outreach of the Church into the community, providing a learning environment where children can make the first step from home to school.

Our Preschool welcomes students from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds.
We offer a half-day program in order to give each child a balance of quality time with parents and an enriching group experience at school. We seek to support each family as the primary influence and authority on the child's development.

Our activities are carefully planned to foster appropriate physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and aesthetic development. Our curriculum is based on active learning through play.

Structure
Presbyterian Preschool offers half-day programs, along with optional before and after school sessions, from Monday through Friday. Most children attend 2 or 3 mornings per week, and it is possible to attend every day. Children are divided by age into 5 classrooms.

Child-teacher ratios vary by age group;
Ones: 4:1 Twos: 6:1
Threes: 7:1 Fours: 8:1

2007-2008 School Year Enrollment Form
The Preschool follows the Public Schools calendar, beginning in late August
and ending in May. Class time is from 9:00 - 11:30, with extended hours available from 8:00 - 2:30.
Tuition is charged for the entire school year, and can be paid by the year, semester or month. No credit is given for absences. A $20.00 registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. The Presbyterian Church offers scholarships for financial assistance; please contact the director for information.

Enrollment
Children must be 10 months old by September 1 to attend the program. We accept students for the current term depending upon space available. Pre-enrollment for the Fall semester begins in March. We invite you to visit our facility and meet with the Director to begin your enrollment process.
